We stayed for 3 nights in the Achill Head Hotel, Keel, and found it to be very relaxing. Our room was adequate for 2 people and bathroom, although small, was also adequate. This was our first trip to Achill, which itself, is a beautiful island. However, our experience at this hotel was not very good at all. The customer service was severely lacking and the room (especially the bathroom) was entirely too small--even for one person, much less two! The room way TINY for two adults and one child. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in, would have been better sleeping in a tent on the ground in the local campsite.

lovely hotel for our family of 5, nice cleanooms, food was good.,but would consider this hotel to have a serious issue with noise...the bar and the disco next door kept ourselves awake till 3 each of the three out of the four nights we stayed. Just back from the achill head hotel and had a wonderul time. We really enjoyed our stay and found the accomadation and the staff wonderful. The island is brilliant also
