Great value and location in Glen Waverley. It’s not your standard hotel, more a set of rental units amongst owner occupied units. Large living area, all the utensils and utilities you need including a balcony. Both times I’ve stayed I’ve faced the train station but I actually enjoy the train and people watching. Less than a block in either direction to food and shopping. Dan Murphy is literally across the road.

Great view from the balcony. Can see beautiful sunset. Location is the best part of staying here - next to the subway station and all the restaurants. The apartment had two rooms, one with a single bed and another one with the single beds and a toilet with shower. The kitchen had all the utensils that we needed. There’s a microwave. The washing machine and dryer fit nicely in the toilet. There were heaters and blankets in the bedrooms. The toiletry even included a pack of tissue which was uncommon and thoughtful. It took a while for the water in the shower to heat up which was ok.

A five-star rating for the Manager / Receptionist, Ron. He rang well before we arrived in Melbourne after a long drive and was able to guide us through to parking and collecting the keys. Recommend putting up a good sign, outside.

We stayed in room 704. It was very clean. It was quiet, faced the Dandenongs which meant shade in the afternoon and kept the apartment cooler on hot days, easy parking access, fantastic Asian food everywhere and the Glen nearby for all of the rest of our shopping needs. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location. Getting to checkin was like a maze. However, if you follow the instructions provided, then all is well. We stayed at Room 1213 for three days. Our room was next to the Garbage disposal chute from the 12th Floor. First day was all good. Second and third day was horrible smell coming from the toilets/bathrooms as if we were sleeping next to a dumpyard (city waste disposal Tip) from one of the bed rooms closer to the waste disposal chute. We could not use that room to sleep. It was horrible. Since we did not stay in the room except to sleep, we just did not bother (we did not have time) to report. May be it is just that specific room. Otherwise, everything else was fine. Parking was very convenient.

Have stayed here many times. Love the location. It's right on top of Glen Waverley train station, so it's very convenient for travelling to the city etc. It's also surrounded by lots of restaurants and walking distance to The Glen, which has supermarkets and shops. The apartment is also fully equipped with kitchen, dishwasher, washer, dryer etc.

Stayed here over Easter. The location is great plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the train station right there. The room itself was a little small and wasn’t as clean as it could be. The dishwasher hadn’t been emptied and the bathroom wasn’t that clean. I considered staying at the quest and in hindsight I wish I did. For the same price you don’t have to check yourself in and out. Not a big drama but you should be getting a cheaper price when you do things yourself. Would stay at the quest next time.

We had a 3 night stay here between Xmas and New Year and we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality decor and comfort of the apartments, it was really like a classy hotel with lovely comfortable beds. 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Really liked how it was decorated. The only thing that was a negative is that there is only a split system air conditioner in the lounge area which does not reach to the bedrooms (they have ceiling fans). The days we were there were very hot (high 30's) and the large windows heated up our bedrooms so it was quite uncomfortable for sleeping. During the day the area is quite busy (large shopping centre within walking distance) and a lively restaurant strip a few steps away. We had a secure car park which was fantastic and overall we really had a wonderful time at IKON. Thank you!…

Stayed in the Studio. Value for money , great property facilities - oven , dishwasher, washing machine, dryer etc. Good for longer stays , and great location. On top of the train station however noise is not an issue. Variety of local restaurants walking distance. Only negative there were a lot of marks on the wall , not sure if it just needs a paint or the prior guest caused some damage , it did make the place look a little uninviting however overall cleanliness was not an issue.

The location is ideal, just next to the Glen Waverley Station. One would have thought it would be a great start to a stay there. The booking confirmation did not indicate there would be no reception and check-in feature, nor did it indicate access instructions would be given. We spend a whole hour and a half trying to get into the building and getting into the room. The indicated contact number was not supported because it is after office hours on a Saturday just after 1.00pm. We left with no choice but to trigger the lift emergency telephone to get the attention of the building manager. Only then, he answered our call to find out what had happened. He helped us to get the person in charge and she came after a few minutes. Claiming follow-up email was send with access instructions but I did not receive any emails from them on the date they claimed was send. Such an incident could have prevented if they indicate a follow-up email with access instructions would be send by a certain date so that if the customer does not receive it, he could ask for it.…
