I stayed here for two nights in a two bedroom apartment with family from Albany, WA. My sister had caught the red eye from Perth and arrived in Melbourne at 7.30am. With two phone calls we were able to check in 12.30 instead of the usual 2 pm. Lifesavers!!! These apartments are fully self contained and within walking distance to everything. My bedroom was huge and although on a busy rd you couldn't hear traffic. The other room was located above the remote garage door for the underground car parking for guests so everytime the door opened my sister would freak as it was quite noisy. Unfortunately there is only one hour parking out the front and our visitors received parking tickets 7.30 at night but we found out later there is more parking around the back. Besides that the units are very comfortable and very clean. I would stay here again.

We stayed in apartment 6; an absolute furnace. The designer of the apartment made the entire west facing side all glass, with just vertical blinds to close to keep the heat out. The entire wall of glass acted as an oven, totally baking the apartment even when it was only 22 degrees outside, and we did have temperatures rise into the 40's while we were there. The heat made the bedrooms uninhabitable, having to move the mattresses to the floor in the lounge room, where the only split system air conditioner was located. Due to the long hall way and layout of the apartment, the air conditioning had no hope of getting down to the bedrooms. The managers of the apartments provided us with pedestal fans ,that simply blew hot air around. Opening the large sliding glass doors was not an option, in the cool of the evening, as there were not firescreens or security screens, making it very easy entry for anyone who could climb the very low glass fence of the veranda!!! The apartments are extremely well located to shops, cinemas, restaurants, train station, everything you need and they are very well fitted out with absolutely everything you need. I would stay here again only if I was guaranteed not to have a west facing apartment. Security screens on all the sliding glass doors, some form of awning or shutters to protect all the glass from the sun and air conditioning in the bedrooms are a must.

We stayed at the 2 Bedded apartment for 4 days. The apartment is comfortable and spacious for a family of 4 members. The cutlery, pots and pans, oven, microwave oven and kettle are provided. The only setback is that there is only one air conditioner in the living room. In the afternoon when the sun is scorching, the two bedrooms become like ovens. Fortunately for us we were out on most days for sightseeing and only spent about an hour or so in the apartment during the "hot hour". There is car park provided at the basement garage which has a lift that takes you to the apartment level. Very convenient. I would like to share that on the 3rd day when we placed the clothes rack with our washed clothes to dry taking advantage of the hot sun, we received an intercom call from a lady presumably a nearby resident that we are not supposed to do so. I guess this resident find its unsightly. This beg the question, then where can we hang out clothes to dry?

Had a great stay at these apartments. I will definitely be back for future stays. The apartment was large and spacious and very clean. I would recommend this place for anyone on business or holidays. The apartment was fairly quiet and in a great location near the Glen Shopping Centre.

This Apartment was conveniently located 5 minutes from the Basketball Centre for a Camp we were attending for the week. We were gratefully upgraded to a 3 Bedroom Apartment and everything from specific instructions to the actual Apartment itself were fabulous. I appreciated the attention to detail they provided as well as the privacy its location provided. Its conveniently located opposite a Mall with Supermarkets & Food Courts, has the comfort of home with an Apartment feel, air con & option of an Oil Heater, I absolutely appreciated the Washer & Dryer given I was travelling with my 2 children, this reduced our luggage needed as we just washed and dried everything we wore, meaning more space for shopping :-) The beds and options of pillows were a great touch & very comfy especially after a long day of Basketball.

These apartments are located just off a busy road but you don't hear traffic noise. The rooms are large and the kitchen and facilities excellent with fast wifi. No wine glasses! Never mind, everything else was great.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was the smell of dampness, stale cooking grease and the roar of traffic outside. The apartment has large floor to ceiling windows leading on to a balcony that directly overlooks a busy road. The windows are not double glazed and do nothing to reduce the noise outside. If you venture out onto to balcony you can enjoy the smell of exhaust fumes. The windows also fail to keep any kind of heat in the apartment. The source of damp smell is probably the sofas and carpet in front of the windows. The carpets near the window feel wet to walk on and the fabric sofas feel cold when you sit down. Even with the heating running you can feel the cold radiating in. There are cheap blinds on the windows which do nothing to block out the light from the street at night. The apartment appears to be surface clean (ie: carpets vacuumed, floors mopped, free of dust etc) but as soon as I went to open the cupboards near the stove I touched slimy cooking grease on the handles and was hit by the smell of stale fat as I opened the door. There is a sign above the sink that says guests must wash their own dishes. Clearly they hadn't done a very good job as many things were greasy or crusted in old food. There is one free hour of internet access per day, just logging in will make it expire whether you use a hour or not. The speed is so slow you will probably spend most of the hour waiting for the page to load. There charges and small amounts of data available for a fee. There is deep bath in bathroom, but you will run out of hot water long before it is filled. The traffic noise starts before 5:00am and goes into the early hours of the morning so don't expect to get much sleep.

Stayed here in early August 2013. Was attracted to the location as well as the 2 bedroom settings which is much better than a hotel rooms. Location is good, next to the mall, we walked there to get our groceries. Apartment is good and cosy, TV, Wifi, washing mechine & dryer, fridge, microwave, stove, utensils, pots and pans all complete and working. Wifi strong & fast but not free. Apartment was clean, spare keys asked and given. Remote control to garage wasnt working, caretaker given us his. Instruction to self check in was clear and simple. (we arrived at 11:30 pm) Caretaker came out to ask us whether everything was ok at midnight when we couldnt get into the garage. Like his work commitment. The only thing that irritates me is the small little signs/notice (enclosed) here and there that warn you its going to cost you more if this is not done, that is not done .... feels like I am back in a dorm. It would be nice and have more class if they price all these items in and let the guest stay without having to have to think about it, of course if you trashed up the place you pay, thats fair. I will still grade it 4 instead of 3 simply because the caretaker (an old couple) touch my heart when he came out at midnight to attend to us else I would have given it a 3 because of the little notice here and there, the accomodation actually is at 4.

Visiting relatives in the area so this was a convenient location for 4 persons. Booked from the Park Avenue website, and there was prompt communication with Joanne for all our queries. They emailed step-by-step instructions on how to access the apartment, which went smoothly with no fuss. There was also a remote control for the basement garage door, the parking lots are numbered according to your apartment so do park in the allocated place. We had to move our car one night as we had parked in someone else's lot by mistake. The apartments are either east-facing, which looks on to the back of the shopping mall, or west-facing towards Blair Road, which gets a lot of the afternoon sun. We had a west-facing apartment, and needs to keep the blinds closed most of the afternoon to prevent the apartment from getting too warm. There was an air-conditioner but only in the dining area. All the amenities were provided, cutlery, all kitchen applicances, washing machine and dryer (including a pack of washing machine and dishwasher detergent each). The WC was in a separate room from the rest of the bathroom, which made it such that 2 people could use it simultaneously, rather than everything being in one bathroom. DVD player, large flat screen TV and cable (Foxtel) all available. The website shows the floorplans of the different apartments, so you can have some idea of what you will be getting. The only thing was they required a 3-night minimum stay, which suited our needs and also reduced the per night cost, but this may make it not suitable for those with less flexible schedules. Centro the Glen mall is literally just across the road, with supermarkets and stores to satisfy all shopping and nourishment needs.

We stayed here recently when there was an event on and all the hotels were very expensive. It was a lot cheaper to book a two bedroom apartment here than book two hotel rooms. The apartment was great. Very clean & tidy and a great size. The bedrooms were big enough and we were supplied with plenty of extra blankets. Great size bathroom, great amenities - a great place to stay. The only downside about it was our apartment was on the rear of the building which faces the Glen shopping centre and a main road. It was very noisy! There were trucks doing deliveries at very very early hours of the morning and also garbage trucks were coming past to empty the centres huge bins. Also, the blinds weren't great at blocking the light out and given we were right next to the main road, there were huge street lights beaming in all night. It was a great place to stay and I would stay here again but would request an apartment on the other side of the building.
