Chosen initially for an overnight stop on the journey north, mainly for its proximity to the M5 Capernwray House turned out to be an absolute gem. Roy and Mel could not have made us more welcome and their lovely home deserved more than just a one night stay. We can not recommend it highly enough!

It really is all that the reviews say right down to the personalised breakfast. The house in its own peaceful grounds offers large luxuriously appointed rooms with open views and is ideally placed for some great cycling (or walking) in attractive countryside.

The house is a lovely modern property in a very quiet position but well situated to visit north Lancashire and the southern lake district. The hospitality of the owners is truly outstanding and I can recommend a holiday here without any reservation whatsoever.
