I hate writing this review because I desperately wanted to love this hotel. Based on the TA reviews, my communications with the booking manager and their lovely website, I was in love with Tenuta Santo Pietro weeks before we arrived in Italy. My husband and I stayed at the inn for 4 nights in mid-October. Here is the full rundown:... More

This was my favorite hotel of our trip. The owners are so nice and their recommendations for restaurants and other things to do were right on every time. The building is an old Tuscan farmhouse (very charming), but they completely refurbished it 2 years ago, so the bathrooms are new and state of the art. The perfect combination. By far... More

We stayed at Tenuta Santo Pietro with another couple - they recommended this villa from a previous visit to Tuscany. It was our first time to Italy and Tuscany. Giuseppe was a wonderful host, chef, and takes a genuine interest in his guests to make them feel comfortable. He recommended numerous hilltop towns to visit as well as restaurants in... More

Our third stop on our Italian adventure was Tuscany. We took the train from Venice (4 1/2 hours - we booked ahead and got the Mini fare and went first class - which didn't seem to be much of an advantage - but nice to have reserved seats and pretty much private seating). We rented a small station wagon in... More

This converted convent is the best of both worlds, traditionally Tuscan with luxury conveniences! Down bed coverings, plush comfortable beds, modern plumbing in stone walled bathrooms! Be sure to hav dinner here with there as it was absolutely the best in all of Tuscany. The only negative about it was that it seemed rushed and diffitcult to fully enjoy with... More

The reviewer who said "just okay" is nuts. This place is perfect. My wife and I first arrived in Rome and then to Venice....finally we were able to enjoy peace and paradise at Tenutra San Pietro. The room we had was unreal. Be sure to make reservations early...do not miss this place. The pool setting cannot be compared to anywhere... More

If you are going to be staying in or near Pienza, I would highly recommend this B&B (and if you are staying there during a hot time of the year, I'd really recommend the Vermentino room- it has windows on all sides, so there is a nice breeze through the room, but with screens to keep out the insects. I... More

I would like to give Tenuta Santo Pietro my highest recommendation possible. This wonderful agriturismo, set in idyllic Tuscan countryside makes for the perfect retreat, whether a romantic getaway or a family adventure. The attention to detail and diligent care spent in creating an environment for the ultimate Tuscan experience are evident in and permeate every part of the property... More

This is an exceptional villa and property in the heart of Tuscany that we highly recommend to anyone who is planning to visit the area with family / friends and looking for a outstanding experience to share with a group. We were a party of 15 (three families travelling together) and rented the entire villa for a week and the... More

We had the misfortune to be staying at the same time as a particularly noisy group, so this is not the fault of the hotel, however the few gripes include very limited breakfast,( bowl of fruit, biscuits, 4 cereals, slices of cake, tea and coffee from a flask. "cappuccino made in a cheap coffe machine served in Ikea cups.Mattresses on... More

Hello and thank you for your review. Our aim is to please all of our guests so it is always important for us to receive feedback to know where any areas of improvement may be. However it does seem that you had some very personal issues with other guests rather than with our establishment. If you had mentioned any of... More
