Marie had the heated blankets on upon our arrival. After an overnight plane ride and a little sightseeing on our way to Trim the warm beds and welcome were just what we needed! Breakfast was delicious and Marie was very helpful!

What a wonderful place to stay for our first night in Ireland! The pots of primulas at the front door provided the colour that we were looking for after a long winter, the bedroom was large and bright, the breakfast table was set beautifully, and we really enjoyed our first full Irish breakfast. Not too far from Dublin Airport for... More

My mom and I loved everything about Tigh Cathain. Marie is a total sweetheart and her home is classy and warm. i loved the decor here - crisp white linens, oversized china cups, antique dresser in the bathroom. Every detail is lovely, quality and with consideration for her guests. We had a twin room up the stairs and on the... More

I have been staying twice so far with my parents and it has always been a great experience. The service is great and all are very friendly and give you a very warm welcome. We felt at home very soon! The last time we stayed was just 2 weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. I came into the dining room... More

We stayed at Tigh Cathain for a single night before flying out of Dublin International Airport. And we wish we had more time to stay with Marie here. The house is wonderfully situated in a peaceful lot, and our room was spacious, quiet, clean and very comfortable. Sadly our flight left so early the next morning that we didn't get... More

We (2 adults, 1 child) stayed in this lovely house for three nights in a family room. We were welcomed from Marie (the owner) very friendly. The heating in the room was already on (it was cold outside), and we felt ourself like at home. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is excellent, we would definetly recommend to stay here.

If you travel to Ireland, why not stay in an Irish home and why not a very beautiful country house with a very friendly and hospitable hostess. Marie Keane is all of that and the Tigh Cathain is a jem. Marie has a very homey sitting room and breakfast room with the best fresh homemade breakfasts you will have in... More

We were a family of 4, two teens, in the family room which was perfect with three beds. Marie, the owner is just a gem, so nice and wanting to help with restaurant recommendations and the like. Her full Irish breakfast with eggs from their own hens, homemade jams and bread was a wonderful start to our days. She also... More

I recently stayed at this B and B and would highly recommend it. It is a beautiful tudor country house and is just near enough to Trim but yet away in the quiet countryside with spacious bedrooms and en suites. A warm welcome will greet you upon arrival and fresh home made bread and local produce awaits you for breakfast... More
