This is a beautiful suite hotel in a very small town in Tuscany. Our suite was on the first floor facing the street-no problem there -the street is very quiet at night. The suite was beautifully appointed and spacious. Bed was comfy and the kitchen supplies were great. In the morning you can order whatever coffee you want and a generous breakfast tray is brought to your room or to the upstairs outside terrace-whatever you want. Free parking next door. The town is tiny but the views are beautiful. The family owns a Michelen star restaurant in town which I highly recommend. All of the towns we visited were about 45 minutes away. We would pick two towns a day to visit. For the price this hotel was definitely worth it!

We were very happy with our stay in Sette Querce....Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast pastries were great. I would have loved to have some warm eggs for breakfast but besides that I cannot complain. We had a good balcony at our room and would definitely go again.

Upon reading an article written by a designer fron Chicago, along with friends I booked us two rooms for a few days. Despite all the steps(no Elevator), my husband took the room on the third floor. It has a great balcony. Every day our breakfast was brought up and the four of us enjoyed the view and planned our day. The five star ristorante owned by Daniela was a wonderful addition along with her brother owning the bakery that provides all the wonder pastries for our breakfast. Also take advantage of the wonderful hot bath in the area for a relaxing day. Then go have a glass of wine at the bar next door.

The Sette Querce Hotel is situated in an enchanting setting just steps away from the the small village centre, close to a beautiful church and a truly amazing restaurant where you will delight in traditional Tuscan home style meals at Ristorante Daniela. The rooms at Sette Querce are spacious, clean and well appointed. The hotel is nestled in among oak trees with shared terrace spaces to enjoy a drink under the canopy on a hot day. Most of the rooms are accessed externally from the garden rather than being accessed from a hotel passage way or off a lobby. The air conditioning worked very well and it was great also to have access to opening windows surrounded by shady trees. The quaint wooden shutters added to the overall ambience of the individual rooms and suites and also provided good block out. We were staying here as part of a wedding group so we were able to see many of the rooms and they all seemed very sweet, clean, comfortable and just perfect. The hotel is an easy walk to a number of thermal baths in the area or just walking to the local bar for 'aperitivo' or 'happy hour'. All the staff made sure all your needs were met with little fuss and highest level of professionalism. I look forward to my next visit and loved this hotel and the area as much, if not more, than Sienna. You would come to San Casciano if you were looking to explore the beautiful hillsides of Tuscany and don't mind getting off the beaten track. Excellent value in a tranquil and soothing part of the country.

We were dining at the sister restaurant, Ristorante Daniela and I had a brief conversation with a woman. Turned out she owned Sette Querce. It made the perfect ending to the day to be able to stay in this fantastic Tuscan town. It's very quaint. The hotel so accommodating and peaceful, away from the crowds. The concierge also acted as porter and carried my bags all the way to the top. A lovely breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning.

If you like getting off the beaten path, head towards San Casciano Bagni. It is situated in a beautiful town above the rolling Tuscan hills. We had a very spacious room right over the reception area with a delightful, small balcony. The room was decorated in cheerful colors and was so comfortable and restful. Breakfast is brought to your room. You could get spoiled here.

My husband and I recently returned from San Casciano dei Bagni after our son's wedding. We stayed at the beautiful Sette Querce (SQ); translation Seven Oaks. From the moment we stepped out of our hire car until the time we left we were treated like family. The service here is both impeccable and unobtrusive. We travel quite frequently and have stayed in some high end places and by the way this is my first travel review. Grazie Alessandro and everyone from SQ. Alessandro is the most sincere host you could every meet. A view shared with our family and friends. Nothing was too difficult in making guests feel comfortable. Our room was a beautiful shady room, cool and calming in spite of the soaring July temperatures this year, air conditioners were in all the rooms and included in the room rate. A small kitchenette provided opportunity to make a light refreshment or lunch when needed. The Restaurant, Daniella's, a 3 minute walk from the hotel, is exceptional. You will find here a rare pride taken in the cuisine. You will also find home made pasta, locally sourced fresh, seasonal ingredients and a variety of excellent food choices including vegetarian and delightful wines. The restaurant and hotel is a family run business and you are made to feel that you are dining at home. The pasta, meat and fish dishes are among the best I have tasted. The Nuptials were held in Figurine, nearby, but the pre wedding supper was held at Daniella's and a party of 40 were treated to some of the best food in Italy. I will mention one dish in particular. Whilst not a fan of rabbit, I can tell you that the rabbit dish served on the night was an absolute sensation and still a topic of discussion in August. I highly recommend Settle Querce (SQ) for solo travellers, couples, or larger groups as well. There are small terraces among the trees on the property to enjoy breakfast or an evening cocktail-prosecco or campari anyone? This is a sweet place for travellers to enjoy the sights of Tuscany with as a day trip, Sienna being about 1.30 hours by car or one hour or so will get you to Montepulciano to sample some delicious wines although this can also be achieved with a short walk to Daniella's. So all of the above are just a few reasons why I would recommend SQ. The room was spotless and the room rate came with a light breakfast, served in our room or terrace, breakfast was the standard type served in most Italian bed and breakfast venues.

We went on a cycling vacation through Tuscany and spent two nights here. Very spacious room - huge. Also, pretty terrace to lounge in the sun. We were treated like family and had a truly lovely alfresco breakfast each morning served by Allesandro - the son of Daniela the owner. The fabulous service is why we give this 5 stars. We would Definately stay here again

Good value. Well situated to explore this beautiful area. We were there just for a long weekend, and visited the hot baths (really nice), Trevinano (better seen from a distance!), Riserva Monte Rufeno (wonderful walking and views), we ate at Il Poggio. Our room was better than advertised - included mini kitchen and nice sitting room. Excellent breakfast served in room. Will return.

Delightful small hotel with fantastic service. Calm, beautiful setting. Strategic location. Friendly and helpful "staff" (family.) Couldn't have asked for more for our first stay in the area. We will return! (P.S. Don't miss the nearby spa.)
