We travelled from Australia and spent a week here with our 7 year old daughter in Autumn and could easily have stayed a lot longer! It is in a beautiful location, with a view over forests toward Sansepolcro and the Tiber Valley. Our host, Beatrice, was delightfully helpful. We had the place basically to ourselves and it was very peaceful... More

This review is for La Scheggia di Stefania- Fagianaia, which is a three bedroomed, one bathroomed villa on the Fattoria next to the larger property. Firstly, this is not the "Chianti-shire" region of Tuscany, it is more forested and the hills make for a wonderful backdrop to the theme of the unspoilt Tuscan holiday. It's height above sea-level (some 500m-plus)... More

We stayed in " La Fagianaia" for one week. 4 Persons. It has a magnificent view, it is very quiet, there is lot of private place around the house with chairs, table etc. It is an ancient place with lots of trees and lavender. The gardens are beautiful. Because it's on the top of the hill, La Fagianaia has always... More

My stay with a friend at La Scheggina was simply wonderful. The beautiful house and a garden to enjoy. Inspiration for al lot of photography. Is's perfect to get away from busy live. The manager is very friendly and gave us lot of tips to view the beautiful area. I have to come back someday to experience this again. Lydia

The house La Fagianaia is a seperate house on La Scheggina, where we had our holiday for two weeks. This house is on the most beautiful spot of the Fattoria, on top of a hill with a large terrace with a beautiful view. It was windy every day of the week - in summer this is most likely a lovely... We had a lovely stay at La Scheggina. This was the second time I was staying there. Our house was well equipped and very clean. The swimming pool is a real swimming pool. We had perfect outdoor evenings under the pergola with BBQ and the smell of rosemary. I can only recommend this place.
