Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When we arrived we were greeted at the secure gate by Claudio. He immediately welcomed us in and showed us our way around the breakfast area for the next morning. We were then shown to our rooms. Before departing us he made sure that we were happy with everything. It appeared that our rooms had been newly renovated. I wish I took photos, as the ones here on TA are not current (Hotels .com has current pics) They rooms were quite lovely. Additionally they were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The self serve breakfast the next morning included many offerings: croissants, fruit, cheese, yogurt, toast, coffee, juice and more. It was more than sufficient for us. For the rate and proximity to the airport, this was a good option :)

We requested a refund for the booked holiday 1,5 months before the arriving date, due to a sudden dead case of one of our close family members. Even though that we received the refund from other booked accomodations, Bed & Breakfast "KUNESIAS” denied the refund even in this special case.

We stayed here because of its proximity to the airport, and it served that purpose. Claudio provided us with a shuttle to and from the airport, which we appreciated. Our room was not in the main house but separate in the back. It was quite dark and not very roomy. The fridge didn’t work, although they did offer to let us use the fridge in the main house. In summary I would say this is a reasonable place to stay if you want to be close to the Palermo airport. But request to stay in a room in the main house. Ours was suboptimal.

Excellent location! Very close to the Palermo airport. The room was spacious, comfortable, and worth the price. The town is clean, comfortable and interesting. This would make a good home base for exploring the west coast of Sicily. This B&B provided a lovely breakfast and each room has a refrigerator. The kitchen area remains open with use of a microwave and toaster. You are in walking distance of markets.

Room Tip: We were here in early February. I’m guessing it’s very busy in the summer season.

We just returned from a wonderful trip around Italy, including Sicily, and this was our last stop before flying home. Wonderful and highly recommend to anyone!! Location - We wanted to stay close to the airport because we had a 6am flight. They offered to take us to the airport (at 4am!). We had a car so didn't need the help, but grateful for the offer. Accommodations - Wonderful! The room seemed newly renovated and really (really!) clean - we've had unpleasant experiences in the past with small family-run places, and this was not one of them. Staff - Super helpful! They were in communication prior to our arrival and offered car service and the BEST dinner recommendation (L'amuri e lu sapuri - one of our best meals during our trip). Overall kind, communicative, and lovely people. Highly recommend.

We spent our last night in Sicily at this B&B in 2013, and returned in June. It is close to the airport, the rooms are clean, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Breakfast is simple and they are very flexible as to when they will serve it. They offer shuttle service to and from the airport for a very low fee. The owner and his staff are super nice.

I recently booked a stay here and unfortunately couldn't travel due to one of my party being unwell (in the current situation I didn't want to put anyone, including the other guests abd the staff at the property at risk). I contacted the owner to explain hoping for some sort of compromise over the fee. They were very rude, refused to help me at all, took the money without my consent and actually called me 'stupid'. I would never stay here and would remind people that this might be a nice place to stay but if you run into any difficulties, don't expect any compassion, what you get back is unhelpful and ultimately insulting!

Response from Claudio Bommarito, Proprietario at Kunesias
Responded 30 Aug 2020
Rules are rules, I don't believe in Santa Claus, I just respect contracts. You have made a reservation in my b & b and you have canceled beyond the terms provided by the contract with booking.com besides stupid you are also ignorant to put a review on a site that allows reviews to people who have actually used a service. You didn't come to my b & b and took the liberty of writing a review, if I had time to waste with stupid people like you I would ask for damages through my lawyer. Ignorant.

It's always a crap shoot when you stay at a new place, but we were 100% happy with our room, which was large and spacious, plus the shared kitchen, where we had breakfast the morning we left. Claudio, the owner, offered a great selection of food and drinks and took us to the airport at 0530 for a very reasonable price. My only regret is that I only stayed one night!

Great big room, clean and comfortable. Close to the airport and Palermo city. The owner and Ivan were super helpful by staying awake until midnight and picking us up at the airport. Full breakfast available. Thanks a lot

I stayed at Kunesias awards the end of October as I needed a stay near the airport for one night. Even though I didn't land until 11.30 pm, the owner, Claudio, picked me up from the airport without problem. Very beautiful room, clean and modern with lovely features like exposed beams. Breakfast was typical Italian with anything you might need to start the day. If I needed to stay near Palermo airport again, I would look no further and stay there again anytime.
