The hotel is located in a small town, hence nothing much around the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice, service is great, everybody is friendly and the prices in the restaurant and at the bar are reasonable. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in November 2010. We had a double room Bergkristall and "Verwöhnpension" (full board). This was our first spa experience. We were probably the only non-german speaking people at this hotel, but since we understand German well enough that wasn't a problem.
