We arrived late in the evening and he came to pick us up at the train station, which I was very impressed by. He seemed nice enough. Then we got to the house.... NOTHING AT ALL LIKE THE PICTURES on his page! The kitchen was dirty, with piles of clothing all over the floors. He took us up the room... More

We were very disappointed with the accommodation, as the pictures and text on the B&B website gave a different impression, our bedroom and bathroom were certainly not comfortable or clean. Mr Belain asked us to contact him on arrival as he would pick us from the train station, but we tried numerous times to contact him en route from the... More

So this is how it all began.A weekend trip to Paris and Versailles was planned and my friends booked this place (going by there great experiences at other B&Bs). We finally reached the place and found the location pretty pleasant. The river and the quiet... We rang the bell of Mr Denise's house and thats when things started looking a... More

I had a the best experiences in B&B in Switzerland and hence decided to do the same for my trip to Versalles. The location is excellent, but the most SHOCKING thing was the experience of the stay there. We were welcomed by Mr.Denise Belain, who was bleeding all over face, fingers and blade cuts in the hand! The place/rooms were... More

Denis willingly drove us to a restaurant in nearby Herblay the first night (Sunday). Unfortunately he was not aware their hours had changed and was closed. Happily we found one that was open - Le Triskell - and very much enjoyed it. Restaurants in nearby Herblay (walking distance) - Le Triskell (Créperie), Le Pacific (Chinese) are excellent! Two other apparently... More

We have a new catchphrase in our family to describe our accommodations experience near Paris: Dirty D’s. We booked and pre-paid (via Paypal) for two nights at “Quais de Seine”. We were asked to pay the entire amount in advance. The location and set-up suited our group of six – we wanted to park outside of Paris and take the... More

Based on the information on the B&B website, this was booked to provide us with a short break after a few days in Paris for the Marathon on April 5th. We arrived, as arranged on the 6th April, albeit a little early, but to our horror found that there was no-one at all on the premises. This was disconcerting as... More

Albeit, a nice location the B & B was far from that portrayed on the website. The Family Suite with ensuite is actually a room with a queen (king) bed which connects to the common hallway, for the other guest upstairs. The Bathroom is just down this hallway. To access the other part of this "suite" you must go into... More

The Quais de Seine is definitely not pristine, but if you want a real taste of France it is the place to go. We rented the entire house and Denis treated us very well. He speaks very good english and was very helpful. We arrived late without having eaten. Denis drove me up to a nearby Moroccan restaurant and had... More

My husband and I are in our sixties and very adventurous. When we finally found "La Frette Sur Seine" we were already way later than we told Denis to expect us. Then we couldn't find the address. When we found the house, it was not exactly as the pictures portray, but the location was so perfect. When we found out... More
