This is an honest and fair review of our time spent in house no. 302 at Las Adelfas 2 complex. We had booked for 3 weeks , we were shown to our 1 bedroom twin bedded house. Adolphus showed us round , he was polite and friendly but he stressed several times to us that we must lock back and front doors and ensure the chains are on the front and back doors at night and if we left the house. This was a little concerning as though perhaps the complex was unsafe but we had no issues concerning safety while we were there. However No 302 in our opinion is in the worst position on the site . It has a public path and road at the back with no privacy at all on the back terrace. There were no sunloungers, no parasol or awning to give shade. Although to be honest when we were there Jan/Feb the terrace got very little sun which made the lounge very dark and so you were forced to sit on the very small terrace at the front which again looked out on to a road with rows of parked cars and vans so not a relaxing view or outlook. When Adolfhus showed us the safe it was not working so he said we would have to wait in the following morning for an engineer to come and install a new battery . Not an ideal start to our holiday but the engineer duly arrived and mended the safe. Trying to unpack a large suitcase of clothes with just 4 hangers in the wardrobe was a trial especially as two of the hangers were childrens ones and the clothes just fell straight off. So i walked to reception to obtain more only to find it locked when clearly the board outside stated it should be open. Two more trips to reception to try and get some hangers to be told the cleaner would bring some the next day. So 3 days of clothes draped over everything we could find in the end we bought some ourselves from a charity shop. Although the hangers arrived the next day. we woke up the next morning to a big puddle of water coming from the fridge so we figured the thermastat needed adjusting which stopped the fridge from leaking but it also froze the salad items inside. We just could not get it regulated properly. The whole kitchen was very very poorly equiped and staying there for 3 weeks we didnt expect to be eating out every night. We bought a couple of frozen pizzas one night to cook only to find the oven had no shelves just a small grill pan so the pizzas had to be cooked seperately. The supply of crockery was very limited only 3 cups , 1 cereal bowl So we were continually washing up. There was no dishcloth or washing up liquid which has always been present in previous apartments we have stayed in. There were no cushions on the couch or coasters to place cups or glasses on on the polished wood surfaces inside so we were continually placing our cups on our phones to stop leaving rings on the polished tops. We have never stayed in an apartment so poorly equipped. The downstairs shower was tiny but also very grubby on the floor and i didnt want to stand on it, there were a lot of years of grime on it. I wanted to bring all this to the attention of the people at reception but it never seemed to be open at the stated times. The one positive we came away with was The Waterfall bar on the complex. The food was basic pub food but very tasty and value for money, especially there fish and chips on a Friday night. The staff were very efficient and very friendly. When we checked out I mentioned all the faults to Maria on reception and she said I should have let her know as they have parasols we could have had but why not have them at the apartments . On the whole I would say no 302 needs some money spent on it to upgrade it, with new kitchen equipment and downstairs shower. I have no idea what the other apartments are like, perhaps we were just unlucky but for us it was the worst appartment we have stayed in anywhere in the Canaries and we have stayed in loads.

This was our second time holidaying at Las Adelfas II and yet again it did not disappoint, it was superb from start to finish for our 10 day stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and our extended family also had another 2 villas. From the moment we arrived, Maria and Adolfo gave a warm welcome. Maria is very informative and provides lots of information on buses, taxis, excursions and we also purchased Siam Park and Loro Parque tickets via Maria which were amazing trips to keep the kids entertained. The pool and complex itself are well maintained, clean and the pool temperature is just right for cooling down after a couple of hours in the sun. The kids loved the pool and we found it hard to get them out of it. The villa had all we needed to make ourself at home. On site was The Waterfall pub, we ate and drank here a couple of times, even having the odd breakfast on the morning. A 5 minute walk away is a shop where we could get our supplies for food/water....maybe some alcohol 😜 Grandee O'Donnell Irish bar also is a short walk and the food and service was second to none. They have a wide range of sporting events aired on TV which of course we made a point to watch our home team play....and lose 😕 but that dampen our spirits. I highly recommend Las Adelfas II, if you are looking for a chilled family holiday where the kids entertain themselves in the pool. Our kids range from 9 - 14 years and they loved it and was lovely to all holiday together. The feel and vibe of the complex is fantastic. We love this place so much we are already planning our next trip 😊 Thank you Maria, Adolfo, Victor and all the Las Adelfas II team

From the moment we walked into the reception and was met by Maria we felt relaxed and welcomed, Maria was a excellent lady really helpful and informative, the appearance of the pool area was clean and tidy, never went into the pool so can’t comment on temperature, the on-site restaurant and bar served a reasonably priced menu and cooked well, they do have a happy hour in the afternoon for drinks, the apartment was large and very clean and tidy, kitchen was well stocked with all utensils to cook if that’s your thing, beds comfortable, nice patio area, it’s a bit of a walk down the hill to where most of the bars and restaurants are, but there are a few just a 10 minute walk, all in all a very chilled out holiday

This place is magical. Adolfo, who greeted us upon arrival, was incredible throughout. His hospitality was some of the best we’ve ever received in our lives and he will be fondly remembered when reminisce on our time here in Tenerife. We couldn’t recommend Las Adelfas enough- all staff, namely Maria and Adolfo, we’re just superb- and you can see this with how they interact with every guest, remembering everyone’s names and really taking the time to ensure everyone is happy and having a good time. Some of the nicest people we’ve ever met, the villa was beautiful, huge and super clean. We certainly will return to Las Adelfas, and if you’re reading this unsure on whether to book here or not, I hope this review allays any of your concerns and gets you excited for the journey before you in Tenerife. Adolfo, never change, you are our ‘holiday-hero’. Dennis, Blair & Liam- V210

I stayed here for 5 nights whilst I played golf and thought the apartments where great. They are in a perfect location for the golf and the managemnet even came to meet us to give us our keys following our delayed flights.

Stayed here for 5 night for a golf trip in a 2 bed villa backing onto the pool and Waterfall bar. The Villa was very clean and had all the facilities we could want. Pool is big enough, cold but refreshing, and the sunbeds and area are in very good condition. There is a drinking water refill unit out front so you can refil your bottles for 10c a litre. We tried the Waterfall bar once and the beer wasn't the best, they only offered a few things on the menu and what we did choose wasn't great so wasn't impressed at all, but the locals seem to love it so perhaps it was me. The staff at Las Adelfas 2 are lovely and always approachable with whatever questions and help you require, they encouraged us to stay by the pool after we checked out while waiting to go to the airport which was a nice touch. If you like aircraft this is a dream as they fly direct over your head about 300 feef about 20 times per day, didn't bother us just added to the view. Would not hesitate to stay again if in the area.

This is a peaceful resort and the grounds are well tended and everywhere looks clean. When we travelled, (November) we had the swimming pool to ourselves which was lovely. The accommodation is acceptable but perhaps in need of a slight update - having said this, it has everything you need. There is a good on-site restaurant/cafe bar which serves a variety of home cooked food. The staff at reception are exceptional in their willingness to help and special mention must go to Maria who went over and above the call of duty to make our stay very enjoyable.

My granddaughter and I stayed at the Adelfas in June and we had a fab time. The staff are so friendly and helpful, Tony works so hard as does his lovely daughter Jo and Bena his wife. Alison on reception is on hand daily and always happy to help if you have a problem. The pool bar is excellent and the food is very good. There is karaoke and bingo in the evening which we went to a couple of nights and it was such a laugh as everyone joins in and Tony makes sure you have fun!!! Our room was on the ground floor number 110 and it was fab, spotlessly clean and very spacious. Have to say it was the most friendliest place I have stayed in and will definitely be returning!!! Thanks to all of you for a terrific time!!!!
