On our first trip to Ireland, we loved the farmhouse location. Marion was very welcoming and had an awesome breakfast. We were greeted with scones and tea along with Lily the dog. We enjoyed our walk up the hill and back down giving us a beautiful view of the area. The cows were also very welcoming following us up and... More

Marion was a great hostess, as was her dog, Lilly. The grounds are gorgeous and the views spectacular. It was one of the few sunny days we experienced in 3 weeks touring Ireland. Upon arrival, we shown our rooms and then given scones. Rooms are clean and comfortable and location is good for touring the area.

Marian was wonderful - she is so accommodating and friendly. Her scones were absolutely delicious! She went out of her way to cater to guests with special dietary needs. Her home is lovely. The rooms are quaint and clean and the view from our room ("Bridge") was gorgeous. Definitely worth staying a little off the beaten path. Dinner at the... More

Marion personifies hospitality with her attention to every detail of her guests' needs. She prides herself on her baking and even provides plastic wrap for her patrons to take treats along for snacks during their travels. Lilly, the Labrador, is a nice addition to the experience. Marion's recommendation of eating at the local Pink Elephant Restaurant was a nice choice.... More

We stayed at the Bridgeview Farmhouse while passing through Cork. Marian was a wonderful hostess - she served us tea and took the time to get to know us when we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable. The B&B was very convenient to Kinsale, where we had dinner at Fishy Fishy. My husband loved the delicious breakfast - especially... More

The rooms are not the largest but are certainly very nice. The shower and view from the room are excellent! But most remarkable was the splendid breakfast with freshly baked scones every day!. Marion was constantly asking us if we had enough. The warmest welcome in Ireland. We will certainly recommend the place to all of our friends!

Lovely cosy farmhouse with fantastic views over the estuary. Marion was brilliant couldn't be more helpful. Room again was lovely with gorgeous view from the window. Breakfast was amazing home made scones porridge fruit and pancakes- still full! Bridgeview is also pet friendly which was great for our little dog. Nearby kinsale is a beautiful harbour town.

Since I was absolving a "working holiday" in the area, we (my wife, our son - 21 months of age & myself) booked @ Marian's BnB for 22 nights. We found her outstanding Guesthouse on the internet and thanks to the other comments on Trip Advisor we booked it without any second thought...and we were NOT disappointed in any way!!!... More

Of all the places we stayed this is the one we felt the most like family. Marian was and is a great hostess. We liked the farmhouse feel. My dad's parents owned a large farm and it so reminded me of them. I learned how to make gluten-free pancakes( almost like crepes). We were there Sept 17-19, 2011. It was... More

My sister and I stayed at Bridgeview Farmhouse for 3 nights beginning Sept. 27th, 2011. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there with Marian. We had a room overlooking the water and hills beyond which was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and Marian was always eager to make us feel at home. Her breakfasts were delicious and there... More
