We had a fabulous one night stay at the Townhouse. Our room was so comfortable we will definitely return - beautiful linens, high ceilings, lovely bathroom, and delicious treats for breakfast. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and the food and service were both excellent. The location is handy to town and parking is available. This place is a... More

We stayed here for two nights at the weekend and were pleased with the room we got. It was of a good size and had nice wooden shutters on the window and there were books outside the room to borrow. The bed was quite comfortable and there was a fridge for the continental breakfast that comes with the room. We... More

Have eaten and really enjoyed eating at the Tannery on a number of occasions - mostly linked to confirmations in Ring. Looking for a night away and using the Bridgestone Guide as my bible, I was pointed in the direction of the Tannery Townhouse as a restaurant with rooms option. We were a little nervous with some of the poor... More

The Tannery Townhouse is a converted Georgian terraced dwelling close to the restaurant and to the town centre. The property doesn’t have an elevator and there were 33 steps to our top floor room, so people with impaired mobility or lots of luggage should seek ground floor accommodation. Room size varies and ours was quite small, not much bigger than... More

We have just come back from a stay at the tannery townhouse with dinner included. What can I say but that we will be back again. Our room was not large but it was lovely and had all we needed. We had drinks and dinner in the restaurant . Food and ambience was just amazing as was our delicious breakfast... More

Well managed with efficient, professional and friendly staff. The room was quirky, spotless clean and had all the essentials. The bespoke breakfast is a treat, this accounts for (along with the staff) the rating I've given. The only disappointment was that fairy liquid was put in the soap dispenser in the bathroom!

We stayed in the Tannery Townhouse last weekend as a quiet anniversary treat. We had been waiting for ages to visit Dungarvan and eat in the Tannery restaurant itself, so we decided to email and request a one-night package. The one thing that stands out about the Tannery is the staff - they really take a personable approach. Not overbearing,... More

Held a work meeting at the hotel and found the whole experience very pleasant indeed. The service from all of the staff was first rate and we felt very well looked after, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone enjoyed the food, especially the freshly cooked muffins. The Townhouse was modern, comfortable, clean and thoroughly nice. The only downside was that... More

My friends and I spent last night in the Tannery Townhouse and it was just amazing - the rooms were fabulous and the attention to detail is just brilliant. The beds are so so comfortable- I even took a sneaky look to see what brand the mattress was ! Tried to see the brand of pillows too but without success... More
