Spent three days there last week in April 2013, on a painting holiday. The place is warm, clean and welcoming. Owners and staff exceptionally friendly and obliging. Food is top class, fried breakfast NOT boiled in oil as everywhere else. Spacious room and ensuite. I enjoyed the slightly old-world ambience and loved the freshest eggs you will ever eat and... Riversdale staff was very helpful in locating places and people we wanted to see. We were genealogy searching. The grounds around is a working sheep farm and a river barge enterprise. The sheep had lambs and we could see them from our window. Breakfast and (dinner by reservation) were served in a charming sunroom.
