Porto Platanias Resort is a great Hotel and Resort. Nice rooms, friendly staff, good buffet meals, nice pool side bar, several nice pools, and about 75 feet from the ocean. The Spa is beautiful with great selection of treatments! An all around great place to holiday on Crete!

Stayed at Porto Platanias for a week while my husband was attending a conference at Crete (this was in October, so end of season). We checked in very late. The following morning realised that the patio area was underground. There are rooms built over the patio, we couldn't work out why we had slept so late until we realised that room recieved no natural daylight. Lights had to be on the whole time you were in the room. 3 times requested to be moved.... More
