We stayed one night in El Valle and when we asked around we were quoted the lowest price at Los Capitanes so we stayed there. The rooms were OK. Pretty stuffy and dated. It was a place to sleep, convenient to town and easy to find. For the money I guess that's all you should expect. The grounds were pretty. We had no hot water. Didn't live up to the website in my opinion.

I read reviews in the travel books made the restaurant sound good. No one was in the restaurant when we arrived. Rule #1 when eating out and particularly when eating out in an unfamiliar place....don't eat there if there are no people there. I'll make this short, the food was bad.

We had a very pleasant stay at Los Capitanes. It is in a beautiful setting in the stunning Anton Valley of Panama. Our room was large and comfortable. highly recommend great value
