Stayed here in January and cannot recommend the place highly enough. Roxy and Mileva went out of their way, literally, to make sure i was happy and enjoying myself. They stored my luggage for 2 weeks while i took a motorbike trip to Caraiva and could not have been more helpful arranging transport etc. the pousada itself is a wonderful... More

What a place. The owners (yogis and avid design lovers) are friendly and wonderfully warm. A special place to come retreat fro summer. The resident dog is a sweetheart too. We had the most incredible stay at Sitio Sao Francisco.. It is such a beautiful Pousada- really stylish and artistic.. every corner you look you notice another amazing artistic creation. A lovely small hotel with a relaxing ambiance. Its an ideal place to chillout, paint, chat, throw dinner parties. Each individual chalet style room or appartment has been individually decorated for the personal touch. The owners Mile and Teo and their staff offered fantastic, warm and friendly service.
