Four of us stayed here after day one of our Hadrian's Wall walk heading Eastbound. The owner Peter is exceptionally helpful and friendly and we had a great stay. The place is clean, quiet and breakfast is very tasty.

We came here to look at Hadrians Wall and this was a good base for this. The room we stayed in was nice but the bathroom was quite small but adequate. Very welcoming. Super bedroom with top quality tissues!! Bathroom spacious with quality toilet paper!! Towels complete with a proper bar of soap! Generous size dining room (use of large fridge for your beer etc). Separate lounge for guests. Hearty breakfast starting with melon and fresh strawberries, followed by cereal, full English breakfast, toast, coffee or tea. Lovely views all around... More
