This is a place where you get fold by your first impression. The "style" is not exactly a Austrian traditionally style , this is more of a mixture of traditionally and Italian Pizzeria . But this doesn't matter though the food is fantastic and the host is really friendly. I have a real unusual allergy but this was no problem at all. The owner prepared each evening a fantastic dinner specially for me. This is so pricey and nice.

This is a really nice hotel with extremely good service. I have been in many similar hotels during skiing vacations and the cook serves above average good food. When I read the reviews I was a bit concerned about the smoking but I can assure this is not an issue at all. Yes in the bar area smoking is allowed after 20:30 but there is a non smoking section as well. The rooms are all non smoking and I was not bothered at all. This hotel is run by a hard working family who serve good food nice service and excellent service and it is only 75 meters from the ski bus. I like the family atmosphere.

This is the most disgusting place I've ever been to. They allow indoor smoking in the restaurant which makes the whole building smell like smoke even if the room was a non-smoking room. Don't stay here if you are sensitive against smoking! Just wished we could have read a warning about it before booking a room here. The room was very spartan. There is no mini-fridge or safe. Balcony was nice though even if it came with a ashtray and lighter (for a non-smoking room). The breakfast buffet was small and didn't have much greens of fruits. The coffee was abysmal coming from a nescafé machine instead of real coffee. Press a triple-espresso if you wish to have something that resembles real coffee.

We booked here for a short ski break. We were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is family owned and run and they provide a friendly and excellent service. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. We were on a half board basis and there was always plenty of choice with a buffet breakfast in the morning and a choice of 3 main courses for the evening meal. The hotel is situated a short 100 metre walk (approx) from the ski shuttle bus which takes you to the ski arena which is a 2 minute journey. It is also only a few minutes walk to the railway station or you can catch the shuttle bus, where you can get a train to Mayrhofen about 10 mins away. ( The journey is free if you have a ski pass.)

I've recently spent a night there during a business trip through Austria. Hotel is alright, though very basic and a little dated. Dinner was surprising, it was actually a lot better than we expected looking at the restaurant. Rooms were clean.

We stayed here for one night whilst in transit. The staff were helpful and allowed us to park our motorcycles under the awning out the back of the building. Our room was really large and clean. Good bathroom, lovely views. The restaurant had separate smoking and non smoking areas. We were offered a price with dinner included, which was average and initially undercooked (chicken). But quickly rectified. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice, and fresh.

Perfection. From walking into the front door to our departure 3 days later. My incredible boyfriend chose this Relais Chateaux hotel for our Christmas vacation. Beautifully appointed, incredible service and attention to detail. A welcome cocktail for the weary (us!) and an unexpected departure gift from Sandra - a beautiful bottle of syrup that we will treasure (and use soon!). The rooms are contemporary and superb. The color palette is luxurious and warm. Wonderful lotions and shampoos and a soaking tub that was needed after a long day hiking. There is a jar of heavenly bath salts (that can be purchased as well) and I used this in my hot bath. Our room view was breathtaking. We slept with the door open to appreciate the Alps cool nights. This hotel is worth the splurge and it is convenient to town. We were given three restaurant recommendations by Sandra - all perfect to our liking. Our favorite meal though....was that at the hotel of Simon Taxacher. I will review that separately; however, if you stay here, you MUST eat there - outstanding and a memory to be cherished. We only speak English (and some phrases in French and Spanish...) and the conversation and dialogue was always perfect - the owners and staff all speak excellent English.
