We really have an enjoyable stay at Monarch sands beach resort. There was a mouth-watering foods with reasonable prices, the staff are very friendly and attentive. Great ambiance and a peaceful place.... They offered tours that you will not feel bored during your stay. They provide dive packages at a very reasonable price. We guarantee customer satisfaction!!!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was great the food was great everything was wonderful. We actually came back again in january when my sister from the states came to visit. Ron was very accommodating to all our needs as well as a staff!

I will never recomend this place. Over-priced. Overrated. Website was deceiving, there was no white sands, paradise etc.. Monarch Sands is simply TERRIBLE. Beware of the transportation costs to and from the resort. Based on their website, the resort lies south of Dumaguete City. To the price you wont find it better. Nice sandy beach in a small bay next to a fishing village, beautifull view, Fine cottages, friendly and smiling staff and wonderfull food. Try their crepes with mango and banana :-)
