We only spent one night in Wanaka's Purple Cow YHA whilst travelling but it was lovely. Clean rooms and facilities we had the double room with an en suite bathroom which was nice, hot and clean. It was a stones throw from the lake and shops. Pool table which I think was free to play. Overall very good!
