We spent 3 nights there. The rooms are spacious and clean, big comfortable bed. The bathroom was ok, the sink was leaking a bit. Good value (60.000kip/night). It's a very clean and pleasant atmosphere. This is the only place we have ever stayed in Vang Vieng having visited there the first time in 2011 and then twice in 2012. We stayed on the river view side the first time and the street side the last two times Both sides are excellent!

I can be short & positive about my stay at Mountain River View Guesthouse. The room was spacious and clean for a very good price and the view was fantastic. I recommend this place. Well done, keep up the good job!

Only stayed here for two nights. Arrived without booking and they had a room available. Room was big and clean with a small balcony. Only went there for tubing, nice place, good location! The view from the room was stunning (keep in mind, they do have rooms on both sides of the hotel, we had a view room on the third floor). Staff was friendly and helpful. WARNING: I caught the cleaning ladies (they live there) as they wanted to steal my valuables. The reaction of the management was kinda like: they didn't steal anything yet, so what's the problem? DON'T STAY THERE!

This hotel is clean and an excellent value. However, there is no place to hang anything- no hooks, closet, etc. They could be much better rated if they would provide that basic element. And- the need to service the rooms more often. I stayed 3 nights and they never emptied the trash.
