We wanted to take a short vacation during the week with our little dog, and JMM fit the bill. Long story short, everything was very nice and we enjoyed ourselves. The host was very friendly, as were the two dogs of the house. Lots of interesting conversation and plenty of great tips for area dining and attractions. The breakfast both... More

This was our second stay at JMM. We love the hospitality of the B&B. Tony always sends us out the door with a full stomach ready to take on all the Finger Lakes has to offer. They always welcome our service dog.

Tony and John are great hosts at the meticulously well kept Manor House. Tony is truly a master of the kitchen for morning breakfast. His modest pride peeks through as he prepares a perfect four cheese egg soufflé or cinnamon/sugar waffles. Home made or locally acquired fruit jams, sauces, and compotes must be experienced. Ask Tony about his herb garden!... More

Even our tiny poodle loved John Morris Manor Bed and Breakfast in Seneca Falls NY. From the sheltered view of of Lake Cayuga seen while sitting on the porch swing on the large manor-style porch to the large variety of birds that flock to the feeders or the pack of seven deer my husband saw feeding in the wooded meadow... Tony is the best host. I called to book his B&B for my friend's birthday weekend. The minute I spoke with him on the phone, I knew the place was going to be great. Every room is beautifully appointed. We had a blast hanging out by the fireplace drinking wine and catching up. We were spoiled every morning with a... More

My husband and I stayed here for a night. We were a bit worried about my food since I have a quite intensive list of food allergies, but the hosts were very attentive to our needs. While he and others had a 3 course breakfast, I had a delicious 2 course breakfast that left me more than satisfied. They were... More

I went on line and tried to get a B&B for a weekend getaway with my husband. I must have called about 10 different places and they were all booked. I happened upon this little jewel by accident. I read the reviews (good and bad) but it looked to warm and inviting in the picture, I thought I would give... More

We had a very relaxing stay at John Morris this past weekend. We were traveling with our 8 month old boy and I must say that the rooms are amazing soundproof. We called ahead to get the okay to bring our baby as many bed and breakfasts do not want children. Please always ask about children policy when making a... More

This was the most unpleasant stay in over 30 years of going to B&Bs. The main host was completely unfriendly to us from the minute of our arrival. The first words spoken --in a nasty voice-- out of the host's mouth when I went to the kitchen for an early cup of coffee was "It's not done yet!" and then... More

We took our first trip to the Finger Lakes region over the long weekend and had a charming, comfortable, and perfect stay at the Manor. Tony and John were the most wonderful hosts! One-hundred percent professional with a delicious layer of personality and warmth. I don't think we could have had a better first B&B experience. Tony made sure that... More
