Upgraded to mountain view room top floor - happy. Pool was nice and we always got a seat in the sun - happy. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly - happy. Location is perfect. Right across from the beach. There are birds on site which made the hotel a bit different - loved it. Would return if got a good deal. More

My partner and I spent 6 nights at this hotel visiting from Australia in October 2011. From the moment we walked into the foyer the service was exceptional. We booked a deluxe ocean front room and this was allocated as expected and on the 27th floor of the hotel. The room was extremely spacious, clean and well-appointed and the view... More

We had stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki before, so we thought we knew what we'd be getting when we made reservations for a Regency Club level room. The first time we were in Waikiki, they had lost our reservation, and for the troubles we went through, they gave us access to "The Regency Club." Basically we were given free... More

Aloha, Thank you for taking the time to provide such a comprehensive review of the Regency Club before and after renovation. We did move the club to accommodate more guests which has also led to the extended hours. We are going to send your comments to the team. We do concur that you get a pretty good deal with access... we selected this hotel because of a recommendation by a friend and because the Halekulani was under construction and the Royal Hawaiian couldn't guarantee a non-smoking room. We went for the Regency Club level to get at least a bit better setting. The room size was OK, but started to show its age. Faucet at the bathroom sink was just... More

Aloha, Thank you for this feedback. We do regret that your room experience was so unpleasant. Although it is hard to tell from your post if you spoke with anyone about the condition of the room, we have forwarded you comments to our housekeeping team for review. We are glad to read that you enjoyed the Regency Club Lounge and... More

Back only one week and already planning another trip. The hotel is fabulous, and the staff was amazing. This was our first trip to Hawaii and I couldn't of asked for a better experience. The Hyatt is located in a perfect location, and has something for everyone. You are close to beach, shopping, food, tours and entertainment. Run, don't walk... More

Hyatt Regency is well-known worldwide for great ambiance, location, and service. I would return again to this hotel and give the front desk personnel another chance to shine as I had received bad experience last time I visited Hawaii. But overall, i loved the location of the hotel...beach front. The cleanliness of the room by our attendant was superb. More

This hotel is located in the best spot in Waikiki! It is located on the main street in Waikiki and is right across the street from Waikiki Beach. It is absolutely beautiful and spacious. It consists of both the Ewa and Diamond Head towers and the space in between the towers that is filled with lush greenery, waterfalls and little... More

30th floor stay. Great room size, almost too much room! Diamond head view is phenomenal, and location at the end of the strip us great. Park on monsarrat at the free parking on the other side of the zoo to avoid the $30 parking charge. Pros: location, location, room size Cons: thin walls, we heard an entire phone conversation to... My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Nov. 2nd-10th. We go every year at this time and stay at the Hyatt. This year there was something missing. The service at the front desk was to say the least not up to standards as in the previous years. It was as if they couldn't be bothered. We moved rooms three... More
