Right in the heart of Newport this house is a small gem. Comfy rooms. A short walk to the wharfs for food and shopping. Easy distance to the famous mansions and cliff walk. And best of all a really special breakfast. We spent four nights here and just adored it. Can't wait to come back.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Francis Malbone House for a quick get away 2 days. The owner and staff could not have been more hospitable. We stayed at this inn for 2 nights and found that room (Courtyard #2) and bathroom was roomy, the courtyard a lovely place to relax and the common areas very nice. This inn is just blocks from the wharf, shopping and restaurants. It has off street parking, which is a plus in high season in Newport.

It was our second time staying at the Malbone House and it was as wonderful as the first time. The property is perfectly maintained, warm and inviting. Will, the inn keeper, provides exceptional service and pays attention to every detail. Each breakfast was unique and well prepared. The staff was professional, and rooms were immaculate.
