We visited during the beginning of March, where snow still blanketed the fields. Betsy was extremely thoughtful in emailing us ahead of time to let us know to bring boots for our weekend stay. The view was stunningly beautiful when we pulled up to Ravens Roost Farm. Edgar was great showing us around, and Betsy left us the most amazing... More

This is a lovely property, and the space is cleverly laid out so you have everything you need. We thought the breakfasts were wonderful, and it was nice to have them any time we want. The hosts were very nice, and we enjoyed the area - hiked each day in Shenandoah National Park (about 10 miles away from the entrance),... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review The Cottage at Ravens Roost Farm. It is so helpful to me the Innkeeper to know what people think so that I know if there is something else I need to do to make my guests comfortable. It is also nice for new potential guests to see how folks felt... More

The Cottage is a great place for a weekend getaway. Betsy and Ed are friendly hosts and the cottage is very comfortable and clean and in a beautiful area. Breakfast is delicious and on your own schedule. We look forward to returning soon.

We had an amazing weekend at The Cottage. The cottage is amazing and perfect for a couple looking to get some rest and relaxation. The views were spectacular. If you love the outdoors, this is an ideal location for exploring near by hiking trails. The town of Luray is also super quaint and neat. Can't speak highly enough about our... More

Beautifully situated, and exactly as pictured. Perfect for an overnight or weekend getaway for two. Lots of animal friends, a stunning view, a comfy bed, a hot tub... what else could you ask for? We will definitely be back.

This cottage as billed as a B&B and the bed was sooo comfy and the breakfasts that Betsy provided were delicious and very filling. Betsy brings the food over the evening before and just leaves it in the fridge and you can help yourself when you are ready the next morning. My husband and I would eat what we wanted... More

The Cottage at Raven's Roost offers a unique approach to the B&B experience. Located on a farm with exceptional views in every direction, it is a extremely well appointed studio cottage. Betsy and Ed are warm and inviting. The Farm has a civil war history and is an interesting spot to hang out. Ed offered us "free range" to look... More

If you are looking for a unique, romantic and restful getaway near Shenandoah Valley National Park, you've found it! After a day spent hiking in the icicle-laden park, we enjoyed warming up in the outdoor hottub at subset, gazing at the stars (a rarity for us city dwellers) and waking before first light to hear the wind blowing through the... My husband and I needed a peaceful retreat after a devastating family loss. We were looking for a private, quiet atmosphere hosted by loving, understanding people. Well, we got that and so much more while staying at the Cottage at Ravens Roost Farm! What was depicted on the Cottage's website was an understatement of the peaceful, healing getaway we received!... We stayed at this small cottage for several nights in October 2011, and this turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip! This cottage is located in Luray, VA, which is a short 15 min drive to the Thornton Gap entrance for Shenandoah National Park. The website for this B&B has an extensive collection of photos of...
