Room was relatively big in size to spread around all the ski clothes and bags, Big TV in the room. Lobby is very good with a fireplace that was always running. Reception staff are very helpful. Hotel is very close to all attractions in city and close to plaza. Morning breakfast was excellent. More

This hotel is within walking distance of most of the historic areas in Santa Fe and also many restaurants. We had good breakfasts every morning while we were there and enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace relaxing with the mulled cider which was available in the late afternoons More

We've stayed here a few times - over the past 10 years. Well positioned and quite safe. Easy for driving and walking about the town A block or so from the markets. Close to top restaurants. BUT - watch which room they try to give you. Top Floor is best - basement - lower floor - is not. So book... More

We travel all year, we travel all over, we almost exclusively use Hilton properties and for the most part, that usually guarantees us pretty decent digs. This is not the case with the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. The check-in was 3 hours because they were full the... More

Pros: Fantastic location, great New Mexican room service menu (especially since I discovered fruit salsa- and asked the chef for the recipe), friendly staff Cons: They didn't have my room ready at check in, the decor could use renovation, and the heater was fairly loud When I returned home, I received a guide book on Santa Fe from the hotel.... Visited during Christmas holidays, and the hotel was very warm and welcoming. Decorations were lovely. Great fireplace in lobby and lovely outdoor fireplace by the swimming pool. It was located conveniently in the historic distiric and staff were very friendly. More

Location is good, only a block or two from the Plaza, restaurants aplenty within walking distance. Make sure to get a courtyard room as the hotel is surrounded by busy streets at most hours of day and night. In-room dining menu is limited and food not very good. Bar is OK and family-friendly, especially for dessert after walking the Plaza... More

The room is spacious, if average in decor. But the linens and beds were good and the public areas are quite nice. Drawbacks are the loud heater fan (even when set to low) that cycles off an on during the night and the lack of wi-fi in the room, making cell calls only available outside the hotel. With the exceptional... More

Booked the Hilton through American Airlines Vacation package. We had a great stay and found our worries about earlier, negative reviews unnecessary. The location of the Hilton is perfect right on the edge of the downtown. EVERYTHING is walking distance. The rooms we were in do need renovation but it looked like the hotel is in the process of doing... More

Our room was located in the renovated section and it was really great. Gone are the peeling wallpapers of reviews past and icky bathrooms. Everything was clean to the last detail. The bed was also very comfortable with a ton of pillows, which I appreciate. The towels were huge and fluffy! The only in-room concern we had was when a... More
