In response to this review, many bed and breakfast inns request shoes be removed. I don't do that, but since I had just had the carpets all cleaned, I did ask that guests wipe their shoes on a rug by the door. Pine needles etc. get stuck in the treads of walking shoes. We spent 3 nights on the island and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Helen the Innkeeper is a wonderful host. The room was big and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The location of the Inn makes for a very quiet and relaxing stay but still only 15 minutes from Friday Harbor.
