We had a bit of a problem on check in. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but not necessarily informed about their hotel. I may have been expecting too much from staying at the other Hyatt on the Riverwalk. This hotel is geared more for business travel and not vacation.

If you're attending an event at the convention center this is where you want to be. No car necessary to get to the convention center or dozens of restaurants, shops, the Alamo, or riverwalk.
