Our room was spacious, housekeeping efficient and the Tues-Thursday Managers' receptions very welcoming! Free wine, beer and hot snacks in the lounge. Breakfast included and that was hot too. The hotel is in a rough part of town but the customer serevice is good. They serve a very nice breakfast and the Hostess Georgia Rios is very proud of her meal. Ray, the manager, was very helpful and his staff was friendly and very knowledgable about the San Antonio area. The river walk is about a 7 minute walk from this hotel. We are not city people... Excellent staff, clean room, and great wine reception. Close to the Riverwalk and Rivercenter Mall. We walked both morning and night to the Convention Center and felt safe although the hotel is a little off the beaten path. More

My family stayed here Jan 6-8. The hotel was very clean and the room was great. We liked the extra sitting room, fridge, microwave, and flat screen tv. Breakfast buffet was above average for being complimentary. Employees were very nice and there is a shuttle if you want a ride to nearby attractions (not to airport though). More
