I stayed at this quaint Inn last week in Tucson. It's hard to not enjoy its charm, from the well manicured grounds to the individual feeling of the "rooms." Don't expect your WI-FI to work in your room and allow 10-15 minutes for hot water to reach your bathroom (seriously!), but the staff is very friendly, the little restaurant nice,... More

Thank you for your review of our hotel. We sincerely appreciate the kind comments. I would assume you stayed in our historical section which we fully admit we are having difficulties with our WiFi service. The thickness of the adobe walls are causing us some problems. We have identified the solution and will be completing this improvement soon. The majority... More

I visit Tucson once a year for the Mineral and Fossil Show and have always stayed in the central hotels where the shows are based - and never enjoyed the experience. I found this hotel on the Internet and tried it out this year. I was very pleasantly surprised and will certainly use the hotel the next time I travel... More

We made our reservation via Expedia and when we arrived there was no record of our reservation in the system. We thought we would be turned away but the staff went above and beyond, finding us a room for the night. It was a spacious room with a beautiful view of the mountains and a fireplace. The property is situated... More

The Lodge on the Desert is a beautiful little hotel. The rooms are individual – as if they were separate from other rooms – but they aren’t really. The grounds consist of several buildings with 4 to 6 rooms per building. The staff was most helpful and gracious, the wait staff in the restaurant was equally friendly. We didn’t make... More

We had a suite in the one of the newer blocks and we were not disappointed. Both the bedroom and living area were huge and well equipped and there was also a balcony. The hotel, rooms and grounds were spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. On one occasion we asked Aleisha... More

We were very impressed with The Lodge on the Desert hotel accommodations. The room was very spacious and featured a charming corner gas fireplace. We were upgraded to a jacquzzi room at no extra charge. I used the tub to soak my aching muscles after one of our great Tucson hikes! We appreciated the super-large flat screen TV, as well.... More

Our stay at the Lodge exceeded our expectations. Excellent service and very clean grounds. The rooms are beautifully updated with fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs. Flat screen TVs and wifi in every location. I highly recommend eating at the restaurant. Our meal was delicious, the steak and lobster ravioli was to die for! Next time your in Tucson, I highly suggest... More

I was so amazed by this lodge. Very elegant and clean. The staff were polite and helpful. I was sad to leave I must say because I enjoyed my self so much. I am returning very soon after the Gem Show and plan to stay longer. Also, the restaurant was delicous . . . . . it was a great... More

Great layout and architecture though the rooms can be difficult to locate at night. It was lean season on an August evening and there was very poor lighting. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The pueblo tilework in the bathroom is artistic. Double sinks are a welcome feature. The balcony can be a breezy experience even on summer evenings.... More

We stayed here on New Years eve. Fantastic stay. We were in the new section. I couldn't believe the rate versus the price. It is a super deal. The rooms are enormous, the bed comfortable, the bathroom super clean. Fireplace was a bonus. Charming property. The pool is aparently heated and available 24 hours - awesome. We should have tried...
