Stayed here for the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, not convenient to most of the shows but we expected that. Room was spacious; with all the views, I should have requested a room overlooking the pool area and to the east. Ate in Dos Locos for dinner, really nothing special about the restaurant and had a bit of a hard... More

I recently stayed at the Hilton El Conquistador with my husband and my mother. We shared a casita and it was perfect for the 3 of us. There was plenty of space in the main room, even with the pull-out sofabed, and the decor was wonderful - great Southwestern art on all walls, but not overdone or "touristy". The casitas... More

Stayed at this Hilton resort three nights. We were upgraded to a lovely hospitality suite. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The facilities included a golf course, spa, walking trails and a nice though average restaurant that featured a breakfast buffet (not included). At the base of a mountain you have wonderful views depending on your room. I was a bit... More

I stayed here for a conference and enjoyed a great facility and food services. The only drawback was the lack of free wifi on the whole property (only limited to lobby area). Since it is a very spread out resort, it made for some inconveniences to connect easily and affordably. But overall, a beautiful property with great service. More

I recently attended a 4-day event here, and I was most impressed. The resort is beautifully landscaped and immaculately clean. Without exception, the staff members I encountered (several, at all levels) were cheerful and eager to help in any way needed. The Hilton handled our event remarkably smoothly, even though there were other events (including a large wedding/reception) which overlapped... More

This hotel was a great place for our long weekend escape from East Coast cold and ice. (I'm loyal to Hilton and was using points, but considered a couple of other hotels before booking this one.) I would not hesitate to stay here again. We ended up with a Junior Suite, which provided ample space for the four of us.... More

My husband and I stayed here for golf get-away, long weekend in January 2012. For Those that enjoy "resort golf," particularly in the desert, this place is PERFECT! They have a 9 hole course on site and two 18 holes about 3 miles away at the El Conquistador CC, which is a unique set up in that it is a... More

Even though the resort was filled with conference attendees, every employee I encountered gave prompt, efficent service and made me feel that I was the most important guest at that moment. One of the members of my party is gluten intolerent, and the wait staff in the restaurant were careful to check out some menu items to be sure they... More

This Hilton was beautiful and the views were spectacular. The rooms were a good size and the staff friendly. I do however dislike how high end hotels charge for things lower hotels give their guests for free like Internet. The wifi was $10 and was slow and spotty. The food at the restaurant was good. We were located in one... More

The Hilton El Conquistador is situated at the foothills of the Catalina mountains. The hotel backs up to the reserve area and so there are unobstructed views of the mountains. The hotel itself went through a renovation a few years ago when Hilton took it over from Sheraton. The pool area has been spruced up and, overall, the hotel is... More
