The grounds, rooms, and folks that visit are top notch. Our major disappointment with the resort was the unprofessional and less than accommodating ways of the management. VERY POOR choice for management. Brent Wadsworth is the "ruler" and has the attitude that it is his way or the highway. Personally, as a paying visitor it is not my view. Resorts... More

I'm wondering if there is a mistake on the timing of this guest's stay. There were no 3 night minimum stay periods in Dec. and the only 2 night minimum stay requirement was over New Year's Eve. I checked our records and we had no guests that weekend from within 100 miles of Pebble Beach, the hometown given by the... More

Okay, maybe we shouldn't have gone in December when it rained and the high was in the low 50s. The place is nice. We had a one bedroom suite that was comfortable. The facilities are good. It has a nice workout room. The folks were nice. The weather sucked. More

My wife and I just spent the Halloween weekend at Mira Vista and we had a blast!! We met some great people. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool and the conversation pool. We saw people playing water volleyball and they all seemed to be having a great time. We did not play as we were... More

Came for a day of volleyball..Fun intended! The OWNER of the club came out to the pool and lectured everyone about the rules for the game..too much infighting. No surprise as the manager came to the bar, a while back and lectured us about a different issue.. Yes, and before that, the groundskeeper ran out after dark yelling at the... More

I noticed that this review is the only one on tripadvisor by this person. Since there are so few incidents at Mira Vista, we can probably recall all of them, and the ones referred to happened over a period of several years. Mira Vista members and guests are usually very respectful of each other. Rules are unnecessary most of the... More

Mira Vista Resort was overall a delight, a much-needed respite from the day-to-day grind, with friendly people, a plethora of amenities to enjoy, and pretty good food in the restaurant! Let me begin by saying that we were enjoying ourselves so much that we extended our four-night stay to five, and we took advantage of the ability to stay as... More

Thanks for your review and nice pictures! July is the month with the highest temperatures in Tucson, but the air conditioner problem that you had shouldn't have been an issue and has been checked out. Exciting news - The construction of Phase One of the Casas at Mira Vista is complete. The condos are gorgeous and the first residents move... More

My husband and I try to get to Mira Vista as ofen as we can, which usually means two or three times a year. We are intrigued by the condos being built, and may consider one some day. One just has to overlook the construction inconveniences for now. Once we get into the conversation pool and start meeting people, who... More

I had a free day while visiting Phoenix, so I drove down to check out Mira Vista Resort. The friendly lady at the reception desk was informative and helpful during the short tour I was given. The pools and surrounding areas were well kept and clean. The scattering of guests on this day were friendly yet unobtrusive. I really liked... More

Though this resort has a colorful history, it is going through a major transition. The owners are putting in 115 condos, and currently the entire resort is surrounded by construction. The most disappointing fact that first struck us is that the jacuzzi is shut down for a water leak, and will apparently be out of commission for some time. We... More

We appreciate reviews of our resort and encourage all guests to communicate with us any issues or concerns they may have during their stay. Our facilities are used daily and at times require maintenance. The jacuzzi has been repaired and is fully operational. We have begun construction on the Casas and we do all we can to accomodate our guests... More

Just got home from our 4th trip to Mira Vista Resort in as many years. Tucson is a lovely city but once inside this magical resort, we always find ourselves too lazy to get dressed to go out and see it! The conversation pool (slightly less warm than a hot tub) was the place to go when we arrived and... More
