My fiance and I decided to try something new and have dinner at the buffet and it turned out to be VERY disapointing. The food tasted as if it had been out all day and the fruit was still thawing on the serving table. I don't think we will ever eat here again or recommend it to anyone. There was... More

I stayed here with my small nephew for his birthday and had a great time. We had a suite so there were 2 flat screen tv's. We also had dinner at the Council Room bar and grill, delicious food. I liked the pulled pork sandwich. Did not use the Green Reed Spa, although I have in the past and found... More

Beautiful from outside, cant beat the view - HOWEVER - as soon as we walked inside the air was filled with smoke and the atmosphere was humid and claustrophobic feeling. The machines are literally packed together for obviously for max profit. This puts a person in VERY close proximity to others adding to the feeling of claustrophobia not to mention... More

We live in Albuquerque and I frequent the casino, my husband the golf course, but have never stayed the night before. During the Balloon Fiesta (first week in October every year), we decided to stay. The rooms are very large (King) and nicely done - the bathroom downright HUGE. We requested a west facing room which would give us a... More

This resort is built around gaming. That aside, this is a great hotel. The rooms are big and appointed nicely. The property has several restaurants that are good. There is a golf on the property that is fantastic. The price is right too. The only knocks are these: the pool is very small! Smoke in the casino. They have a... More

I don't spend much time in casino's, but as they go--this is a nice one. The decor is really beautiful and it doesn't seem as chaotic and noisy as some casinos. The hotel is lovely and the beds are very comfy. The sound proofing was done well, I don't think I heard any noise from anywhere when in the room.... More

This hotel was very updated with all the new technology in the rooms. Unlike most casinos, you didn't smell like smoke when you got done playing the one armed bandits. The rooms were nice and homey. More

What a huge difference. Stayed one night at Hard Rock (scheduled for 2 nights) and checked out early due to being tremendously disappointed. Sandia is a clean, spacious, customer-service oriented casino with excellent rooms and rates. While you can't navigate the Hard Rock casino due to being crammed in and smoke-filled, Sandia is a completely different experience. Also, the restaurant... More

Rooms are nice and roomy. Pilows not good, did not sleep good and woke each day with neckache and headache. Was there for 6 nights and had problems with tv not coming on, shutting off and changing channels. At first I though it was operator error (me)! After a couple of nights I called about it. A tech came up... More

We stayed here for the balloon festival. Perfect location, especially if you get a city view. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms are especially nice. More
