Cost was $20 per night for a dorm room with 4 beds. The showers are very hot and the comped breakfast includes eggs, cereal, bread with peanut butter and jelly. A great grocery is just 3 blocks from the hostel. Hostel is clean and my room was very quiet. Kitchen contains needed to cook basic meals.. Would stay again.

First off this is NOT a IYH hostel. Yes, there are some transients , mostly travelers and ski bums though. I stay here weekly as I am in culinary school and do not want to live in SLC. I wish I could have spent more time there. Nestled in an old victorian part of town with great bus service. Close to the University and downtown. Grocery store nearby. Warm, hospitable hosts and a great kitchen. Plenty of information about what to do in town, Park City, Yellowstone, etc...

Stayed a couple of nights. I felt the place has a good location, the room I stayed was very clean and spacious. The price was unbeatable. The simple breakfast was a plus. People were already very friendly. I felt safe. Certainly will stay again.
