We recently stayed at this hotel for a ski vacation. It was in a great location to some great restaurants, Bombay House, Sakura Sushi, and Taqueria 27. The room was basic and comfortable. However, I did notice a cigarette burn in the comforter and blanket. Our room was non-smoking.

We stayed here in 2007 because of it's location ...close to the canyons, the downtown and the university part of the city. What else to say? Didn't have that funky motel smell. All that is needed are little instant coffee makers or microwave.

Our check-in was quick but the room was really run-down. There's a creepy entrance to rooms below parking lot level, and you'll find no amenities such as hair dryer or coffee maker in your room. If you can afford another 25 bucks, you can get something approaching elegance at the Peery Hotel downtown.

This place is in the proximity of everything. Its close to downtown, restaurants, shopping, and lots of attractions, including the ski resorts. Interstate 80 is very close. Prices are reasonable, and the managers are very friendly. The rooms are clean and well-kept. I definitely recommend this place.
