Stayed at a private twin and double each night. The best YHA out of all others I stayed. The room is clean and comfy. Shower on 2nd floor is good and clean as well. However, the downstair toilet/shower was horrible, broken lock and flooded floor. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Good value for the money.

Really good hostel in New Zealand, Very clean hostel also. The staff work very very hard here and are great and full of excellent information about trips and things to do in Franz Josef.
