Beautiful hotel, next to Mindo river. This is low season and maybe short-staffed. Restaurant has highs and lows, several meals very over-salted, inedible, but staff brought new dish when we explained. Worth the stay, problems minimal and staff helpful, and because of location. Must take taxi to and from town, cost $4 each way.

Nice area and great place to stay. Food is awesome and you can go to a lot of places right from Mindo Gardens. Very relaxing and nice getaway from Quito for a few days. I would spend more than one night for sure.
