Nice location but lacking attention and amenities. The room was clean, the beds and pillows a bit hard but adequate. Hair dryer that did not work and hot water in the sink but not the shower. All in all... It was what we had expected in Cuba and it was a fun city to visit. The maids were very attentive...

Although most of the reviews are rather good for this hotel, i tried a lot not to rate it as terrible!!! And it is just about the rooms. When you enter the hotel, first impression is rather good. Nothing to be excited with, but in a City with extremely limited choices of hotels, you feel that your choice is the...

Long journey from Havana. 1950's hotel situated at the end of a peninsular. Rooms are a bit dated but the views from them make that all worth while, all rooms have a sea view. Staff helpful. Large swimming pool, many bars, shops etc. Had buffet in restaurant which was huge choice first night then ate a la carte (because there...

Stayed here as a part of our trip, very good. Coped very well when the water in the whole city went off, by providing drinking water. Pleasent pool area. Rooms satisfactory but the bed spreads and pillow a bit smelly through overuse and not cleaned often enough.' Happy hour ' a bit of a let down with a quote from...

We visited this property along with a group of travelers with Road Scholar's People-to-People program. It is comfortable, clean, convenient--and the view is spectacular. A very nice property. Delightful musicians in the bar, too!
The hotel is located by the water, about 40 minutes on foot to the city center.
The hotel has everything needed – couple of shops, the pharmacy, disco.
Every evening the same performance is given in the bars
The rooms and bathroom are clean, with balcony (beds very hard).
Only 1 elevator (out of 3) was working while we were...

Beds hard, sheets and bedcovers low quality. Clean and functional. Tile floors. Decent views of the sea from most (all?) rooms. Breakfast is fairly typical 3 star hotel buffet. However, this is touted as Cienfuego's best, so....lovely moorish style building next door houses an OK restaurant and a rooftop bar with lovely views.
I was concerned after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, but I was pleasantly surprised. I did have to ask for additional towels. There was not a stopper in the sink and the phone did not work, but we did have hot water. The area around the hotel was beautiful and I got to walk around the area which reminded...

We were told that the hotels in Cienfuegos were not particularly good, so we were pleasnatly surprised. We have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The views from the room windows were all lovely. The room was clean. The staff was nice. The included breakfast was good. We had to pay for use of the safe, but it wasn't...
