This B&B is wonderful. The room was very comfortable, breakfast of the highest standards, and service outstanding. The city of Natchez has a lot of Southern hospitality and delicious foods. This B&B is located at the bluffs of the Mississippi. We will return for a longer visit in the near future and will be sure to stay here again. The... More

Well done restoration, good breakfast, 22 steps to bedrooms. Mimi was pleasant, when she was there. Bathroom adequate. Strong fruit aging odors. Parking not an issue, availability in the back and on street. Nice to be able to walk anywhere.

I just returned from a girlfriend trip which included a three-night stay with Mimi at 1888 Wensel House. We loved it! There were three of us and we stayed in "The Front Room" which had a queen bed, a twin bed, a huge bathroom and a walk-in closet. It was on the front of the house, but the only "noise"... More

The 1888 Wensel House, in Natchez, Ms. is a lovely place to stay. It is beautifully furnished with fine antiques but also very comfortable and very clean. Cold drinks (sodas), a glass of wine and fresh fruit are available to the guests all day. The price of $128.50 with tax includes a delicious breakfast of fruit, eggs, pancakes, grits, bacon... More

We spent two nights at the 1888 Wensel House Bed and Breakfast in October, 2012. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners were very gracious and accommodating. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. Our only complaint was that our room faced a main route, so traffic noise began around 5 am. If I stayed there again, I'd ask for... More

We loved our 1st stay in a B&B. Very personal. Ron and Mimi were super sweet and helpful. Rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. Middle of downtown so we could walk to shops, river and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing around a beautiful set table w/ the other guests. It was great. We loved it and will definitely stay... It's hard to believe that the last review for this wonderful B&B was nine months ago. My room was spacious and clean. The location is perfect for walking to the mansions and downtown. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the history and homes of Natchez. They serve a delicious and hearty breakfast that sustains you for the entire day.... More

We stayed in the front room for 1 night. The location is near a main road through town, so you could hear cars constantly driving past. The room was a good size, but the whole room/bathroom needed a good spring clean: the curtains were dusty and needed a good wash, the rug on the floor looked like it hadn't been... More

Clean, large rooms with huge bathroom. The house is a lovingly restored 19th century Victorian with high ceilings, period furniture and lovely wood floors. The sitting room is a pleasant place to sit and read and sip coffee--or if you'd rather be outside, try the large wrap around porch. Located in the middle of the historic area, easy walk to... More

Very charming and comfortable B&B. Excellent breakfast served every morning. Very friendly and informed owner. We were made to feel at home. This was a "girlfriends" weekend of leisure and sightseeing. Our room was very comfortable, very roomy bathroom. Very close to many sightseeing attractions: Rosalie, carriage rides and best frozen Margaritas! Free wi-fi!
