We had a wonderful stay. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Everyone has a smile and a hello for you. We stayed in a room with a river view. Absolutely wonderful. The lobby and surroundings of the hotel are just beautiful. Yes, this is an older hotel, but that is what gives it, it's charm. They welcome you to... More

entrance, lobby, desk are definitive of grand hotels of a grander time. enormous common gathering area with grand piano and period comfortable furnitue. recommend checking room prior to booking. smaller rooms are .not recommended.for fantasic view and large room with balcony try room 715. 5th,6th floors have balconies, try eating at one of their resturants for an unforgetable experience. only criticism is... I needed to spend a night in Natchez and couldn't decide where to stay. I decided on the Eola because I have stayed there many times, just not in the last ten years. I was reluctant to stay after so many years simply because of the age of the property. I shouldn't have worried. The lobby is beautiful, just what... More

We stayed here at a very busy time -- the last day of the Natchez Fall Pilgrimage and the weekend of the ballon races. So, we wound up choosing this hotel mainly because almost everyone place we researched was booked. We were a little nervous about having a leftover room in an older hotel, but this turned out great. The... More

This hotel has a beautiful lobby and friendly staff, however the rooms are very small and the bathroom is even smaller. Not a good place to stay if you are looking for comfort. More

Lovely courtyard with fountain is the perfect place to read, write, hang out with friends. The rooms are comfy and many on the upper floors have great views of the river. Step out the door and you are an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The staff is excellent and will make sure your stay is delightful. More

As you enter thru the gas lit, brick paved courtyard, you are entering the world of Hemingway Faulkner, and Stella. If you loved the movie, "Midnight in Paris', this is certainly "Midnight in Natchez". The grand piano graces the large sitting area filled with quiet nooks for private conversations. The Peacock Bar is one of those dimly lit, quiet (no... More

The rooms are too small. Glad I was by myself. Carpet was old and dirty. Television was old box style. No lights in entry way or closet. Only one pack of coffee a day and it was not decaffinated. Desk chair squeaked with every move as did the bed. Airconditioner makes a loud noise when turning on. Toilet is too... More

We stayed here 10/27-10/29. The hotel was built in 1927 and is old. Reading a few negative comments about the hotel really surprises me. First, with regard to excessive noise and constant music at Andrews, there must have been a big event in the area at that time, because we passed there on Thurs & Friday night and not one... More

Stayed here one night (10/25) and would stay again. Thought it was good value for the money. As others have said, it is a little old but has a charm not to be found in newer hotels. It fit nicely with the gentility if Natchez. Only negative was a little mildew high in the shower that could be missed by... More
