After reading some older mixed reviews we went there with low expectations. We arrived on a dark, windy evening and as soon as we entered we were made to feel very welcome. Me and my girl friend stay at holm house for 2 nights in December. The staff were really freindly and the service was excellent with a good attention to detail. The decor is clasic but stylish and the swimming pool is really nice place to be.
We would deffinatley go back.

Just spent the weekend at holm house. Would advise everybody I know to go. Rooms wonderful, food great, breakfast excellent, young guy who was working at breakfast the last two day. Was a friendly helpful and generally a nice person.
