Stayed here just the one night but found it so quiet, not quite as we expected on a working farm. The house was very traditional and clean and the breakfast was so big it lasted us until the evening.Good value for the money

We stayed at Trewithian Farm for one night as part of a South West Coast Path walking holiday. After a long day, we received a friendly welcome from Wendy and were shown to a lovely, spacious room in this beautiful farmhouse. It is pretty isolated for people without transport, but Wendy went out of her way to help us in... More

Unfortunately, due to entirely unforseen circumstances we had to cancel our booking for the weekend of the 24th August. I was anxious about phoning and felt bad about cancelling at late notice but Wendy couldn't have been more helpful. I even had my deposit refunded. We hope to re-book soon. So, even when things go wrong, Wendy was incredibly helpful... More

We stayed for 5 nights from 13th-17th August 2012 and we could not fault Trewithian Farm in any way. Wendy gave us a warm welcome, showed us our room and left us to it, which is what most people want - so you can relax immediately without the intrusion of the owners hovering. After a beautiful evening walk to Portscatho... More

Lovely old Grade II Cornish farmhouse close to beaches, pubs and St Mawes. Lovely smiling welcome, super staff, brilliant breakfast, nothing too much trouble. The whole family regards it as home from home after staying several times. Try it!

We stayed here for 4 nights in June and the room was lovely, clean and large for 2 adults and 2 children (12/8). There were two single beds rather than a bunk bed so no arguments over who was on the top bunk. There was no bath but the shower room was modern and clean and there were lots of... More

Stayed over New Year and couldn't fault our stay in any way. The room was clean and well equipped. We asked for recommendations for eating out and were directed to St Mawes which is around 5 miles away. Try the Rising Sun pub. Lovely food and reasonably priced. Back at Trewithian Farm the cooked breakfast was superb. Didn't need lunch... More

I had a loveky wekcoming one night stay whilst walking the coast path, It was a welcome sight to find Trewithian Farm about a mile or so from Portscatho. Basic clean bed-and-breakfast styled from a bygone era which was really overpriced in my opinion yes it meets the basic criteria for a four stadoubt it doesn't have a touch of home, it feels rough around the edges and breakfast is only between 830 and 9 all in all I rather not have stayed especially as nowhere to eat nearby... We are a family run bed and breakfast on a working farm, the house is 400 years old and a listed building and as such feel the decor is inkeeping, but I understand this is not to everyones taste. Our tariff is inline with other similarly styled properties in the area and in my own opinion not overpriced. As a... More
