I am a regular at the Red Lion and cannot fault it. The food is excellent and the breakfast will keep you going all day! The rooms are lovely and cozy and even come with a little basket of goodies which are all reasonable but are great for a quick nibble! The staff are very friendly and helpful and bend... More

I stayed in The Red Lion for one night. I was staying in Cromer and so chose two different hotels, but I must say I was shocked at The Red Lion's listed prices and very grateful to Trip Advisor and the 'discount' companies, as I would have been extremely unhappy with this accomodation, had I paid the full price! So,... More

Stayed here whilst playing at Royal Cromer golf course. It's much better on the inside than it looks from outside. Great position overlooking the sea and the staff were very helpful. It had a good atmosphere inside with lots of different beers on offer. We ate here and the food was good quality but a little bit pricey. Room was... More

Our first stay away from home with our five month old baby and we splashed out on the deluxe suite room which was fantastic and well worth the money. The room is huge, the bathroom is huge, the bed is lovely, loads of room for a travel cot, fireplace, wonderful revolving love seat (where can I buy one??) a balcony... More

Found this tucked away overlooking the sea! Nice hotel, lovely food, friendly staff especially the young lady who recommended other local restaurants to visit on our break! - we will most definitely return soon! Thanks again for a lovely meal.

This is one of the best dog friendly hotels we have stayed at, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We did not have an evening meal at the hotel, but the breakfasts were excellent, apart from the plates being nowhere near warm, let alone hot. A very minor criticism which would certainly not stop us rebooking again.

we ate here on our stay in cromer and found the food very good although it's priced a little on the high side for a pub eatery. the seafood chowder was delicious as were the whitebait. good beer selection and nice views over the seafront. there are quite a few "gastro" pubs now in cromer so trot down the road... Very enjoyable. The food was excellent both in the evening and at breakfast. Excellent choice of real ales, all in superb condition. Yes I did sample them all! We had a wonderful view of the sea which thanks to the marvelous British weather meant we could hear the sea as well as look at it , Believe me ,not a... More

My wife and I stayed at the Red Lion for 1 night at the start of our honeymoon tour, and I can only hope that the rest of the trip comes close to the standard set here. We had booked a standard double, but were upgraded to a superior (room 14) because of the special occasion, and the sea view... More
