We were fortunate enough to have room 220 which had a super conservatory type terrace with great views and shelter from lots of rain which fell last week. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Dinner in the main restaurant was a huge disappointment as was breakfast the following morning. We would not return to this hotel.

We were fortunate to have a first floor room(206) with a spectacular view across the river. I can imagine that the rooms four floors below would be very different. Pleasant staff with the usual great Paradores breakfast. Ribadeo is small and easy to get around. The main attraction is the Cathedral Beach about 5 miles out of town.

Very nice location on the water in the small town of Ribadeo - it was difficult for us to find but well worth the stay. Quiet location, very helpful and friendly staff and service. Stayed two nights in this luxury hotel, part of the National chain of Paradores. Had a beautiful room, with sunroom off the bed/sitting room. Good breakfaats. Very accommodating staff and helpful staff.

Having read the other reviews (after booking!) we weren't expecting great things. Our room was wonderful - huge. We only visited the restaurant, with its superb view over the bay. The fish and seafood were outstanding and we finished with homemade icecream made with Cebreiro cheese which was probably some of the best icecream I've had!
