We recently stayed in Casa Maria with our friends and our toddlers (4 adults and 4 children under 4). The house was lovely and well equipped, with lots to keep the children amused and a large terrace area out the front to keep them safely contained. The setting is beautiful and instantly calming and nowhere is this more acutely felt... More

It's not always easy holidaying with small children. You can fly away from grey skies and work woes but tantrums and sleepless nights come along too, like naughty stowaways. And, with familiar routines out the window, demanding toddlers can become even more tyrannical. Not so at Las Nuevas! As soon as we walked through the gates, the children (four under... More

We stayed at Las Nuevas for a week at the end of May. The setting is stunning (high above a massive valley with the sun conveniently setting at the end of it), the accommodation great (a lot bigger than we expected and full of areas / toys for our our daughter to play with), facilities superb (lovely swimming pool, terrace... We stayed in Las Nuevas last month for 9 days with our 2 young toddlers. We had chosen this accommodation as it caters for families with young ones and we weren't disappointed! Mark and Jane are fantastic hosts and have made a haven in the hills. The house is amazing, with unbelievable views cross the hills above Malaga. We stayed... More

We stayed at Las Nuevas in July with friends who had stayed before and who recommended that we give it a try. This was not our usual family holiday - no shopping Malls, no roller coasters, and no hunting for a half decent restaurant in the evening. The first thing we should say is that the photographs do not do... More

This is a hidden gem in the hills, Jane and Mark are the most fantastic hosts and they have built this beautiful place virtually from scratch. If you want a relaxing getaway this is the only place to be, practically perfet in everyway!

We stayed at Las Nuevas with our 2 year old and 3 month old and had the most relaxing time! Going on holiday with young children can be rather challenging, but Mark and Jane, the lovely owners of Las Nuevas, made our time there a super chilled experience. We were all made to feel so welcome and on a practical... More

We had booked by recommendation through the Alistair Sawday site so had high expectations. We were not disappointed. We stayed in the Casa Dolores finca for 2. It was compact but had everything we needed including a little hamper of local produce and delicious home-made fig jam on arrival. We had our own private terrace with spectacular views enjoyed with... More

My husband and I did not know what to expect as we drove up the mountain roads manoeuvering the hair pin bends whilst trying to take in the awesome views of Andalucia. On our arrival, we were met by Jane and Mark who are the loveliest and most welcoming patrons. The casa we stayed in for a week was tastfully... More

We really enjoyed our trip to Las Nuevas. Nestled in the hills behind Malaga, it only took 40 minutes to get to from the airport (thanks to the excellent instructions!) but felt a world away. The pool was gorgeous, set in a great sun trap overlooking the mountains. The hospitality was fantastic. Overall it was one of the best, most... More
