Still the best marriot I've stayed at, sure may not have the amenities of some marriots but by far the best staff without fail. Only thing I would change, would be to add a decent resturant, the sports bar is really not a place I enjoy.

I guess if you wanted to spend time in Richmond too- it is near their convention center etc. typical Marriott- clean, well-kept- valet parking decent exercise room. ad restaurant- staff was friendly and welcoming- food standard Marriott- good but not anything unique

A nice Marriott with a parking garage connected to the convention center. The room was nice, clean and roomy. We ordered room service for breakfast which was great, food was hot, coffee good. Very high end service from the moment you get out of your car. Be prepared to tip. Excellent Fitness area. Breakfast buffet is good. Try to get a special rate ahead of time. Concierge area closed weekends. No passes for breakfast normally given to gold members unlike other Marriotts when concierge area is closed.

Stayed here with a large group for a conference at the hotel. Our entire group was amazed by the friendliness of the staff at every turn. Nice hotel within the downtown area. Stayed for a conference and appreciated the restaurant suggestions and shuttle service although it was not running on the weekend. Still could find a taxi right away. Spacious room and great bed. Loved having Starbucks there and enjoyed a beverage at the bar each night. Walking distance to the Capital and Confederacy Museum.
