Stayed here for one night prior to a cruise. The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is nicely located and although the weather wasn't the best for views, what we did see was also very nice.

The food is fabulous (!!), the view is better and the staff is first rate. In particular, it was fun to see that the staff enjoyed each other AND enjoyed meeting our needs. Just got back from an 8 day stay at the Captain Cook. What a wonderful experience! Check in was easy. We had a room in Tower 1. The room had very comfortable king sized beds. This place is amazing! it's expensive and not necessarily worth it to stay there if you're trying to stick to a budget, but the restaurants, decor, and old world feel are worth experiencing whether you stay or not.
