For me, it's a nice little place, but honestly, we weren't at the hotel much. It was clean and cheap for us than hostels, so it worked out for us. Clean rooms, friendly enough staff, enough restaurants nearby. More

Long hallways, in this double level older motel, close to the heart of commerce, but lacking the real Hawaiian feel, could be anywhere USA once you are in the room. clean and easy to bad they don't have more parking More

It's all right, but things seem a little run down. I feel like I've entered a set of a 50s TV show. More

Excellent location, close to bay and restaurants. Two nice pools, deck with view of harbor. Included breakfast very substantial. Free internet computers in lobby. Supermarkets, P. O. nearby. Kona Brewery, our favorite place to eat, a short walk. More

Old decor but not ratty or stained. Clean room. Most of desk staff friendly, but one not so much. Worth the money, but way less parking spaces than rooms! If it's full up, expect to park in the free municipal lot just south. If not, it's an additional $5 to park in the hotel's lot! After you already paid $100... More

We stayed here in May with four of us, was clean, and very helpful staff. It's not an upscale five star, but if you are on a budget it works. The town of Kona is very quaint and the hotel is in walking distance of stores and restaurants. More

We stayed here in 2006 and had a room facing the pool that was behind the hotel. The rooms were clean and it was quiet at night. This time we had a room in the tower that faced the busy road. The noise was awful from drunks walking home to the couple fighting down the hall. The air conditioner was... More

My husband and I stayed here about 1.5yrs ago, it was a last minute trip and booked it through priceline when we were in honolulu. We stayed for 3 nights, the restaurant Tantes was simple but the food and service amazing, topped off by the uke players in the morning and afternoon. We also did a day trip on the... More

Location is very central and within walking distance to lots of restaurants, stores, supermarkets, and beaches. We stayed in a garden view room, it is quiet and the view is pretty good with all kinds of tropical plants and flowers. Room is spacious and clean and has all the basics you need. Though they charge $5/night parking, you can find... More
